Ice chest serves the function of storing the big catch .

All kidding aside, I have this mat in the bed to keep things from sliding around and to throw under the tires if I get stuck in the sand. I have the typical hard plastic bed liner which is very slippery. This solves the problem:



I did find with the chilly bin stashed on one side and my wheels stashed on the other side, it wedges the nose of the kayak and it just doesn't slip side to side. I didn't plan it that way, some times serendipity just works in your favor.
