outside near the newport canyons. in about 200ft of water. you just have to look for the school of fish because there is virtually no structure out there.

This interests me as well, do you just cruise out to the canyon and try to locate schools/any structure on your ff and then drift or troll @ that depth? What are they biting on? I have gone out the last few weekends wanting to locate some reds and have had no luck. I appreciate your help!
