sorry guys.. didn't mean to send you guys on the wild goose chase.. in this case, the wild YT chase..

i hate to say it but i saw those birds working down south for about 20mins before i decided to check them out.. from my angle i was pretty convinced those birds were working bait IN the kelp, not off the kelp like we hope for.... i kept watching the action 1/2 mile away in the south until i finally saw the right signs..
i just wished i decided earlier to check them out.. those first precious 20 mins would have probably kept them up on the surface longer for us to get better shots at them..
that guy in the PB running over them probably spooked them into smaller packs of fish instead of being that ONE big school i first came up to.

they are feeding on the small anchovies cause that's what was fresh in their belly today..
i'm thinking smaller surface irons like tadyC or megabait might be the ticket cause we swam the big 7X it right through the boils many times...
