Transporting kayak question - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I have transported my kayak many times, morning, noon, and at night. I have had CHP, La Mesa Police, and others see me and not do anything. I always have a red flag attached to the back of the kayak, plus the reflective tape. Something I have been thinking of doing is getting a bike light that flashes red and also hooking that on for added red lighting. I'll give you all the straps that I use and you'll never have to worry about your kayak going anywhere.

red flag it and you should not have any problem with the law.

Thank you all for your help! The bed extender will make it a whole lot easier and safer to carry the yak from/to the water!

Trust me it will make loading and unloading a lot easier.

I just purchased a OK P13, and the bed extender worked out great for me and my Tacoma! I was thinking of roofing my yak but it looked like a total pain in the butt (and back). Even with my 25% off coupon at HF the $35 one Jimmy is selling is better deal.
