Marine Radio Recommendation - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I have a Uniden Voyager and I would not recommend it to anyone! It says it is submersible... ya right. This is my second one, (returned the first) and, both have malfunctioned leaving me with no radio after getting splashed in the surf going out.

Both radios have also had trouble with the Squelch/Volume combo knob.

So I am also looking for any recommendations on a good unit... Maybe even with FM for those slow days otw?

I would like to have 1/5 Watt that is waterproof. Or is that just a myth?
