Yeah, it's a quest. It has worked well for me. I wish the front hatch was a little longer for getting rods in and out on the really bad surf days. I haven't had any desire to modify mine at all (comes with two molded in rod holders and I like the layout of the cockpit), so the lack of flat spots to mount stuff hasn't bothered me too much. It's a little short so it doesn't track very well, but it turns quite quickly when you want it to. It's light enough to carry short distances, even down stairs by yourself if necessary.

If yours has screws holding the seat in (mine did), you might want to have those replaced with something stronger. The guys at OEX on Rosecrans can help you out with that and it should only take a few minutes if they're not busy.
