When I first started fishing out here 30+ years ago, there were no sardines, none, anywhere. And there were times there were no anchovies also. I think they have recovered nicely under the current regulations. In fact, I haven't even seen an anchovie for a long time.

And from what I see out on the water, there is quite an abundance of forage fish out there. Don't know what it is like in Peru, but we seem to be fine here. Don't these folks ever actually go out into the enviroment they say they are trying to help?
