Wait another month and keep saving.
A used Hobie can be had (with luck) for under a thousand. Two years ago I got a 08 revo for 890 dollars. Good luck in your search. ![]() |

I agree about saving up for a Hobie. You can go much further and it is much easier to fish with. You'll find deals out there. You just need to be fast.

i have gone thru five yaks since i started doing this kayak fishing thing.
i first started out in a cobra marauder; first time out was the last time out-sold the next day second one was an older hobie, did not realize that there were a big difference from one year to another; so check out the new hobies and see what they have on them. you'll be able to check those out at the fhs this weekend. after that hobie bought a newer one and loved it. have bought two others just for the small upgrades like nicer deployment system for the rudder and things like that. in the end do your research and know what you want. even if it is expensive just save for it. you don't want to feel like that you could've had a V8....... |

all great advise ^^ It took me a couple of weeks to think of what I wanted.... then it took me another couple of weeks to find what I had thought about. Patient is key, I almost threw in the towel and went with something I didn't want... no one ever responded to my emails and then the next day, BAM!!! S14 at the right price range. So I jump on it within the next hour after I seen the ad.
Now that I have paddled ![]() ![]() ![]()
