1/17/2010 - San Diego Bay - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Finally got the car rigged for the kayak and headed down to the big bay with njovin. Launch out of Shelter Island about 7am and headed straight across to North Island.

Started by throwing the trusty 1/2 oz football head/white curl tail combo and on the 3rd cast picked up this guy -

njovin threw a croc for this -

Drop-shotted a white Senko and got hammered by my fist Bass of the year -

We then paddled out to Tom Hamms for 2 Lizard fish and called it a day around 10:30.

Beautiful San Diego day, all fish/crustaceans were released, home for BBQ and game...almost a perfect day had the Chargers won.
