SanO 8/7/08

Went about 15 miles this morning, with a max range of 6 miles off the domes.
Lots of blue water.
Good amount of kelps.
One suspected mako bite-off.

Water has dropped a few degrees outside. Shoulda been there yesterday.
~10-15mph NW wind started about 1000. Sloppy paddle back uphill. 1-3' swell, ~70F water. Radio traffic was slow-go on the kelps. Nobody finding the fish this AM. One dude claimed a 50# yft @267.

SanO kelp is thriving. Clear blue water, lots of current, lots of kelp growth. Couple calicos there and then hit the beach.

I can post a pic of a kelp patty if you want.
