First post, Mission bay 11/27 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I wanted to ask if anyone could take me out and show me the ropes, but my account didn't get activated for a week

. Its ok I went out by myself anyways thanksgiving morning. I launched from ski beach at 7am. Around 8am near the drain pipe got my first fish on the kayak, 12 or 13 inch spotty. bad pic cause I didn't want to drop my phone.

Then I got a surprise, OCTOPUS! I didn't even know they were in mission bay. pretty cool.

Then I decided to call it a morning around 930am. Didn't get many other bites, except something that took the tail off my plastic.

Overall, pretty good first time fishing on the yak. I hope next time I can meet up with some of you guys and learn something.
