Raymarine Dragonfly? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I went to bass pro and matched up the 50 to the bottom cover of lowrance ready bracket . It did not look like it was gonna happen. Now that I spent a small fortune on the yaks , they will probably come out with a new version next year that will accommodate the down scan and larger transducers , possibly the dragonfly .

. It never ends . I did buy an extra cover from dealer for 8 bucks give or take , and jig sawed it out , so the down scan has a direct view . I will take a few pictures and post , has anyone else done this ? Basically I have no degradation of signal .
