Trident Fish Finder Help - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Does anyone know which ff will fit in the "sonar shield" of the ocean trident kayak??
i was looking into the humminbird 717 and was told it doesn’t fit right
seems that ocean would have made it the right size for at least 1 particular model...
i have heard it is a 383 or 583 is this correct & are these any good?
what are good?? looking at a 3 -4 hundred $ budget + if worth it
just looking for some help...again >>
i will be using the through the hull transducer... and would like to at least have the option of using the shield...or i am going to give up and figure out a different mount...>>
