Ordered weights online . Asked for torpedos and the bastard sends me these. Some sort of hybrid of a pyramid and a torpedo . What do you think ? He is giving me delay on return . Probably get hung in kelp and rocks .

I definitely wouldn't want any of those edges with fishing heavy weight. I believe you're thinking is correct on getting hung up under rocks more.

You get what you pay for. Also a lot of local tackle shops barely make it out there. If you build relationships with your local tackle shop you wouldn't pay that much more. For example. I would much rather buy my gear from Bob Sands in van nuys than some stranger on the Internet.

. Maybe I'm exaggerating ? How much is a 10 opz ? I Thought it was near the $3.00 dollar range ? The guy that sold me the weights contacted me yesterday . Keep my fingers crossed. Full exchange for correct product plus extras . If this goes as planned , I will be good for a couple years , hopefully .

Squidco will usually give you 10% off when you buy more than a dozen. I bought a few dozen torpedo's of different weight there the last couple years in a row.
