Crystal Cove 7/8
Never even made it there before getting whacked by a thresher off Corona Del Mar in 60 feet. Smacked my fly line mackerel and ate it. Got a couple jumps and to the boat quickly and super green, missed my opportunity to cut it loose and got worked until I had a second opportunity. Water was 64-65 and green, lots of mackerel in 40-55 feet.Sloppy seas in the morning settled down in the afternoon. No other takers.

Sweet, that look like a good size thresher. Great up close picture, looks like it's right at the end of your pole.
