reel repair help
I recently received an old Diawa Sealine 400H reel from an Uncle and had to take it apart to clean, re-oil and re-grease everything. However I have run into one problem that is driving me crazy. I can not get the cam spring back into place. The reel runs smoothly but without the cam spring in I can not take it out of free spool. I know where it goes but I can not maneuver it into place. Does anyone have a trick o getting these things back in that they are willing to share? Any help would be appreciated.

I use needle nose pliers. A flat head screw driver helps guide the end of the spring into place if its really stubborn.
