How to tie lure to line

How do you folks tie a lure to the line?? do you just tie it and then when its time to replace it you just cut it off the line. Or do you use a clip to make the changes faster and easier??

Tie your line directly to the lure/iron. When your done or want to change irons just cut it off.
The San Diego Knot is one of the best, easy to tie and strong.

I've been using the trilene knot as of late.

palomar knot. quick, simple 100% strength knot. easy to tie in the dark too. especially good for getting smaller diameter monos to clinch on a bigger eye, like 10lb on a 2/0 leadhead.

San Diego and Palomar are all I ever use for lures and hooks. Double Uni for joining lines.
