Tons of Butts & Bass | Dana Point Harbor
Hi guys, I finally had a chance to make a movie of ?The Office?!
I hope you have a chance to view it in your free time 😃 Summary: We had some really nice weather the last weekend of June, so I went to Dana Point and fished the incoming tide. The bait barge had a mix of sardines and anchovies, some on the smaller side up to 4 inches long. It didn?t matter! And it didn?t take too long to get bit and it turned out to be a great day! Have a look. We caught lots of halibut and plenty of bass. Setups: On one rod I used a knocker rig with a 1/0 circle hook, half ounce egg sinker, and bead. My other rod had a reverse dropper loop with a three-quarter ounce torpedo sinker and 1/0 a circle hook. The bait barge charges $25 for a kayak scoop. Hope you guys make it down south sometime this season! https://youtu.be/P5d4e8WJnzg?si=BxDXc8dUMxIJUN9t |

Good to see you back at it Glenn. It looked like most the bait you got was small sardines. Good steady action and that one Spotty was extra nice! I miss California weather, even the June gloom. LOL Your videos are improving. The more you describe what your doing, the better. Good move to cut the line on the halibut that swallowed the hook. Already subscribed, another one liked.
