heading out Thursday afternoon
working near la jolla tomorrow.going to give it a shot.i never been fishing at the shores but want to give it a shot.never surf launched any advice for a newbie.not looking to catch a fish of a life time just think i will stay in kelp.i will be out at about 4:00 pm for a few hours before sunset.any info will be greatly appreciated

Bring your wheels the beach has been torn up lately. Surf has been small and easy to get out. Bring a sabiki to catch some bait. Have fun. I will be out there as well.

Do tou have a fish finder? If not drag your sabiki around a bit and you will get something.
