Lobster tonight

I am planning on going out with the wife for Lobster tonight on our kayaks... I have done lots of lobstering off a boat, dinghy, but never a kayak.. Now I know know one is giving away any spots, but where would you suggest starting our launch? Any advice will be appreciated!
thanks

I'm Sold. That's what I'm going to do.

I didn't buy the lobster card or have the nets.

SO I'm going load the kayak and drive to the 99 Ranch Market in Irvine. I won't unload it, but maybe I'll wear waders into the store. . .and I'll have the guy splash some of that lobster tank water on me . . . something to make it feel real.

So we went out last night in SI. Forgot to charge my battery so without the fishfinder I was blind. Had fun, learned the ropes, and will be back out thursday night.

Met a fellow first time lobster Yakker at the launch
