San Quintin Fish Report

Following report is from Joe Martin, appears that the fishing is picking up for those taking the trip south. Projected weather low to mid 70's winds 5mph to start June.
A mixed bag of fishing reports along with mixed water temps. has made some interesting fishing for the few anglers that have made the trip to San Quintin this past week. Yellowtail are being caught at the 15 spot 10 to 15 Lbs. on the troll with "deep diver " jigs and on the "iron" reports "Gordo" Garcia of Garcias Pangas. Another fisherman reports White Sea Bass being caught south off of Tranquilo Beach while yet another angler reports excellent bottom fishing for both Ling Cod and Reds. Surf fishing at El Socorrow and Tranquillo beach has been slow to good. There has been some decent size Halibut caught in the mouth of the bay using live Lizard fish one Halibut weighing in at just over 20 Lbs.
Weather has been stable with light afternoon winds which is expected in the San Quintin area.
