Got a hall pass tomorrow...where should I go?

BWE'ers,
Got the pass, all day. Ive got the 13' OK loaded and ready to go. But Im stuck between ideas and cant make up my mind...looking for help!
1. Carlsbad Kelp to pull on bass with squid strips and lead heads...always fun and a sure catch nearly every drop.
2. Try and drag the bottom for Halibut at the Buccaneer Pipe or Anderson Pipe or anywhere else (suggestions???).
3. Try my luck for the first time (in a yak) at La Jolla for the YT.
4. Paddle out to the Oceanside Artificial reef and see what bites (not rock fish season though).
These are my options...
Ive got cut squid, dropper loops, Irons, swim-baits, sabiki rigs....just dont want to waste the opportunity.
Oh ya...no fish finder yet.
All comments, ideas and criticism are welcome...after all I asked for it.
Ya I know this is the wrong area to post but I know its where everyone goes so F-it. Oh I fished off the beach at the Carlsbad Lagoon today for nada...there now its a report.

I will be at la jolla on wednesday, so my biased vote is la jolla. Water is supposed to be real calm and if you are gonna at least have the whole day to relax. Why not relax with a chance of catching something nice?

LJ. Bite seems to be decent. Even if u dont catch, you're bound to see some aquatic life.
