Quite a few rays being caught in DP yesterday, then today I saw this was at the same time last year

yep, they pup in late April and the little ones stick around till October. you can see the big schools of bats in La Jolla end of July till september. they are in 50-100ft but swim at all levels.

use one for bait on the bottom in 80ft of water just outside the kelp line in La Jolla. don't forget your wire.
