Did a quick session before heading to work today. I have not seen this much eel grass in several years. Going to be some fun fishing here this Summer. Another thing I have not seen in years is the halibut launching out of the water in shallow. Pretty cool when a 10 pounder does a belly flop in front of you, kept me casting in that direction for some time.

There was a guy who told me once that the halibut did that I thought he was yanking my chain. Then one summer night around 6-7pm on the shoal by Bali Hai on SI I saw them going crazy out there. All sizes of halibut just exploding on the water and showing off! Who says halibut can't fly!
