looks like you only made it to the first set of piles in 30-40ft. keep going out to 50-65ft of water and fish those piles.

Inside the harbor next to the icream shop.

Looks like it turned out to be a nice day.

I used squid strips and dines on Friday. The squid was all that got bit, and there were only a couple bites at the deeper reefs all day.

squid works, if you can get live bait drift them around the piles and guys pick up halibut. i usually get mine in the harbor and just outside. no legals yet though. you have to go wayyyy out. you wont be able to see the tower, it will just be a small speck and the hotel is just visibly enough to make out the window lines. well ok. its not THAT far. but its about 3/4 mile further out.

there's threshers around here too. a guy i used to fish with got one in jan. and there's been a few caught off the pier and a source on here said he's seen them out there.

ya. i went to a surf fishing spot in hopes of soupfin and sevengills but got blown out. didnt even get picked up by a guitar fish. lol. this storm front, or what it looked like, moved the fish and may have shut off the bite for the next couple days.
