Looks good to me. How did you connect the front upright to the trailer tongue? Did you use a bracket or did you run a bolt throught the tougue itself? I am starting a project that is very similar. I already have the unistrut. Great pictures and great idea.

I did use brackets, bolts and screws in the begging then with time, weight and use hardwares start getting lose, so I welded all the screws all over for safety, since 2009 using it in every weekend and I do that for living never had a problem or accident (knock on wood) or lose a kayak on a highway
