Well got to LJ and was in the water by 0530 made my way out and made bait. I had a tube full of pacific macs. It was just after 730 and I stopped to do a little bottom fishing. My rig gets down to the bottom and at that time my fly line mac goes off, line is streaming off the reel. The fight was on he turned and ran at me and saw that it was a yellow. When I got tension on him he made some runs to the bottom. I started working him up. I was near the end of getting him in striking distance and the hook went. Everything is slack and I'm pissed.
