I wouldn't recommend it

I notice it has a range of 0-100 feet. OK for the bays I guess. And while I get lots of stuff from HF, I'm wary of anything electrical. Not too much can go wrong with a hammer or a pair of gloves, but electronics are different, and I think most of their power tools are crap. That being said, I've had a 19 dollar reciprocating saw of theirs that I originally bought to whack the brush jungle on my hillside, figuring it'd poop out soon thereafter. It's still kicking, though on its last legs, and has come in handy many times. I'd rather buy a new one every few years than pony up $150 bucks for a Sawzall that I only use from time to time. If I was still a full-time tradesman relying on my tools for everyday use, I wouldn't bother with their stuff, but sometimes it'll do fine for home maintenance stuff.
