You goys are funny. I don't know MRG. Your train of thought makes since, but alcohol has knocked me out before. So I can see it knocking a fish out instantly. I saw a guy out at La Jolla Clubbing the hell out of a huge Hali. It looked like more work than a quick couple of squirts to the gills.
