Hobie paddle

Yup ! That happened to me once too.

My Hobie carbon paddle broke at the joint in one regular launching in LJ about a year or so ago.

Fastlane guy replaced a brand new set to me.

However I heard the newest cabon paddle from Hobie has fix the problem .

The old Hobie carbon paddle has some black electric tape to hide the white ugly joint mark , while the newer one has no tape at all , and no joint mark.

Hobie kayak owner rarely use their paddle, and if only that kind of use will break their paddle , it really sucks !
