This will be the first tournament I've entered, so could you please lay out exactly what MBF format rule mean. My understanding is that only artificials can be used, but Gulp, UniButter and the like are ok. I get to weigh in 1 bass (alive) and then release it. Is there anything else I need to know? I intend on fishing artificials only in the kelp, but it just doesn't seem right to launch a La Jolla without a sabiki. As long as I don't fish a mack for bass I'm ok right? You're good to go. Scents like Unibutter and stinky artificials such as Gulp are ok. And no one will hassle you for bringing a jig stick or sabiki just in case the YT go off.
