Mitchell, Fish oils are made of omega3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are considered the good fats, unlike the bad saturated fats in meat. They may deliver huge health benefits for your heart, brain, lungs, and circulation. High doses can help slow plaque buildup in your arteries and lower some types of fat in your blood. Fish oil is a natural anticoagulant, which means it can prevent blood from clotting. This property may help explain some of its heart health benefits, since thinning the blood may improve cardiovascular.

The more expensive fish oil pills are usually made from smaller fish. Bigger older fish tend to accumulate undesirable toxins like mercury. That said, fish bellies also have the largest concentration of fat which also accumulates the most toxins. For that reason, most my belly cuts go in the backyard canal -- feeding Catfish and Jackcravelle and whatever else happens to swim by.
