We recently upgraded the board to the latest and greatest, but it looks like some of these spammers are pretty sophisticated - they kept their Motorola/iPhones pitch strong.
We just changed registration process to use a new account verification method, so hopefully this will stop them. This ought to work if we're dealing with spam-bots. There's really no automated way to stop a real human to post a spam. These have to be dealt with manually. BWE has a 0 spam tolerance policy. Their posts will be deleted, their IP address banned.
