2nd, if you have a paddle yak, is a good light carbon paddle. In the shop or on the sand the difference in weight between a great paddle and a decent paddle doesn't feel like much. But after hours of paddling you'll really notice. Mike

X2 on the seat. I had an old seat with very little padding on it that came with my used Stealth 12 kayak. When I bought my new X Factor, I upgraded the seat and WOW, what a huge difference that made to my ability to sit for hours on end.
