It won't be as bad as the reports show. Remember this kind of storms brings high surf to Southern facing beaches. La Jolla shores launch is a protected area due to the point and the cliff area where the caves are. That does not mean that there won't be large swells once out in the fishing grounds. Large swells are no big deal unless you get sea sick. If the wind picks up then it can be rough due to all the white caps, but the wind is not suppose to be bad at all. Should be a great fishing day. Everyone don't let the reports keep you from coming down. Easy to check the surf before launching. Check the Web Cam on the above menu to see the current conditions.
