Thanks Wade for the Inspiration!

After seeing Wades teak side boards on his PA, I had to make something similar. I worked with some purple heart in the past making a few spear guns and had some leftover stock laying around. I used a template bit with my router and copied the stock HDPE side boards. They looked a bit plain and my wife bought me a inlay kit months ago so I thought what the heck, let's give it a try. I think the plastic bushing gives a bit, so inlays are not the greatest with this kit, but it will get the job done until I upgrade to a metal bushing kit. The clear coat is a clarified epoxy for surfboards, UV stabilized. The inlay is Black Walnut. Presently I'm working on a template for a YT and WSB and will post that when it is completed.
