I used a Thule Hullavator to carry my Outback on my 4Runner. It was awesome. Not sure if the PA is too big/heavy.

What gloves do you use? I have NRS Skeleton gloves. On closeout for $8.95. I love them and just picked up a 2nd pair, but they are difficult to get the stink off after handling fish.

Which model did you get and what year Outback do you have? The newer (at least 2017)come with much lighter paddles than the older ones. That being said, the drive on my 2017 Outback broke Saturday...
