My dad and I paddled out with plans of staying inside to fish for some Spotties using swimbaits and Lucky Crafts, but the conditions were simply too ideal to pass up the short paddle out...

That's incredible! I was fooled for a bit before I realized the shape at the bottom is a Leopard Shark (or some other shark) rather than a YT!

Nice report. What kind of retrieve do you use there? I live closer to HB than Newport yet I haven't really explored it on my kayak yet except for a handful of docks inside the harbor.

You can also launch at M Street on the peninsula by the Wedge, but there isnt much room to park at times, but if you're there early it wouldn't be a problem.
