Replies: 5 Connecting fishing line to Irons Views: 2,553 Posted By Dan straight mono is the way to go, no... straight mono is the way to go, no swivels/leaders etc. just tie straight to the jig 30-40# mono. Spectra used as a backing is a good call too, but i usually use just straight mono on jig sticks.
