Yes, they are homemade - I buy cheap kill cords (I think they are made for jetskis) and then buy some thin velcro to make a loop which attaches to the rod - cheap and easy.

No problem - the tools should also workj with the 798 I believe. Alot of the guys over here have that model - the OK Ultra 4.7 has a scupper which the 798 transducer fits into without modification....
