Wide Open Thresher Shark Fishing in La Jolla
Never expected to be part of a thresher frenzy today. Making bait off the condo and they showed up in force. Saw aerials, bendo's and see ya's i'm being towed... I got bit and saw my spectra start...

The Weather Started Getting Rough
6am launch. Medium size waves. I was gonna get wet. I did... Swells were relentless. Bait easy. Current ripping around the corner. Lots of PBs further out but said "nope not heading out there" too...

Braided Line Question
Been fishing braided line on both reels this summer and losing every hook up to kelp. I've had the line on my reel for years and it appears to still be good. No breaks or tattered looking line....
