💡 hint: the fish is around 16 inch long. Bones are obviously from the head, but not eye sockets. It's not a beach/surf type of fish like croaker, corbina, perch. And none of the guesses above ...

Last Friday 7/24/20 there was a lobster boat around the LJ kelp setting/hauling traps. They were getting only juvenile kelp fish and I didn't see any released back.
