He's right you know, there's a reason they say 10% of the fisherman catch 90% of the fish. Even if you don't get a bite all day learn something about the location you are fishing to apply next time....

cool of you to show the launch/landing, very educational. I always find that the landing is way sketchier than the launch. Have had a few yard sales doing it near the reefs off HB.

it's actually really fun to catch fish on those rigs, I used to bring setups like that to redondo harbor with my yak and fish the mouth for 1-2 lb bonito on them, makes them feel a lot bigger lol.

I love that harbor, I have a couple spots near by for Bonito year round if you want a PM :). Decent size too 3lbs average but up to 7.
