I would go with the Revo. It's a little easier to get past surf and overall quicker. One thing I've learned is you can teach yourself balance but you can only go as quick as the the yak will let you....

I've only had mine a month and love it. The only cons so far is the waypoint entry needs some usability refinements and the vhf as a whole is a bit bulky. The dual channel watch is awesome.
