SX Blems in Town

M&M Custom Rods has SX Blems for $125. They had about 6 or so when I left thee at 1530 today. He spooled it with 50lb braid for $20. I was out the door for $156 and change.

Pricing at Local Places

I went by or called the "local" places today about pricing on Avet Sx with a reel full of basic spectra.

The place on midway priced it to me with 50lb specra out the door at just under $200.

Big thanks to all for the kind comments. Me and the lady had some this fish last night and it was awesome! I didn't have the correct scale but using the "bathoom scale technique" this was 13.5 lbs....

Did some time at Mission Bay today after work. Launched from Mariner's Point at 1615 and picked up some large but not amazing sardines. Got sagged on the first drop that resulted in a broken walmart...

There's an older guy down in CV that has one like that with a sail. He's an old Navy guy known as Kayak Al. Hangs out at the Chula Vista Yacht Club a lot. Not sure if that's his or not though.

So when i got the fish back to the gf's place I weighed it using the old bathroom scale thing. The difference between me holding the fish and not holding the fish was just a bit under 30lbs. Not sure...
