Abreojos is real nice, lots of big fish and easy launch areas. I never made it to La bocana since the fishing just south of town was so good. There are numerous protected areas to launch a yak...

I found one...
Did a lazy man's launch this afternoon, picked a 42lbs yellow on a deadstick iron. Fished halibut north of the pier with plastics, then went to the canyon and hooked up. Was down there yesterday...
