Need some help in Dana point this weekend
OK guys and Gals, this weekend is the whale festival down in Dana Point with an ocean awareness day on Saturday. We have been given a spot in a booth to do some public outreach and talk about the closures in Laguna and elsewhere. I need some volunteers to man the booth, understanding of the MLPA process and the current map shapes would be preferred. It is only for a 6 hour period and you do not need to be there the whole time. You can bet the other side will be out in force spreading the word that closing all the areas we are fighting for is good so we need to be there to counter with our information. I have to work in the morning but should be down there by 1:00 or 1:30. I am sure that some of the local clubs could agree that doing some time in this venue would count towards hours for new members. Any volunteers?
