Got One!!!! 45lb.
 

I finally got to go fishing. So Monday morning I got off to a later start and launched at 7:00. I worked 1 spot for an Hr. Then moved out to the spot that is none for getting them. 10 min. later BAM! there she go's. With 4 feet. of 40lb. floral carbon and the rest braided line. I was nice and calm about it. she rapped up in the kelp and my line cut right threw it. then i pulled her up to gaff. My buddy Paul came over and gave me his gaff.
Do to me loosing mine earlier that morning. Other story.....:(

Dude Matt,My pleasure taking the pic. No fish for me but nice to see yours. Fished with Jimi from Jimijig and we both came up empty. Did get one slam on the bottom on a mac which came up raked but that's it. Good to meet you Matt, nice fish!

Just some squid from the market.

I wish I wore my wet suit yesterday with the surf being the way it was. i bailed off of my kayak early to avoid the spill in about 5ft of water coming in. was that you in the yellow kayak in the kelp? saw someone land one. nice catch
