Met up with a couple other guys from the forum here. On the water around 5:45AM. The water was relatively flat when we arrived but got rough around 10:30 or 11. Made bait on the wait out to the canyon. We fished nearby in the canyon looking for rock fish in the morning, chased some birds around afterwards.

Got 5 decent sized rock fish and a big sandy on the same jig I worked last weekend. Threw the jig into bait schools with no luck from any predator fish pushing bait up.

after a day of chasing surface action and no luck we headed back in and worked the harbor for 30 or so minutes for salty bass.

The camera angles make that copper look big. You've got to teach me sometime.

I may have seen you out by the Palawan. I only came back with a Sculpin. Hit me up if you ever want some company.
