The Battle of the Bays is TOMORROW...
 

The second CCA CAL Battle of the Bays Tournament is tomorrow in Redondo Beach at the King Harbor Yacht Club...we will have a shotgun launch at 7am and the weigh-in will be at 1pm followed by lunch, raffle and the awards...the 4 day Cedros trip will also be given away tomorrow afternoon along with the i11s Hobie Kayak provided by Southwind Kayaks in Irvine. :luxhello:

You last minute anglers can register at www.battleofthebays.com...it will be easier to pre-register today on the iAngler app rather than bother with the
sign-up and registration tomorrow morning. :cool::confused::rolleyes:

You are automatically registered in both the CPR (catch, photo, release) Bass division and the Rockfish division. The three longest bass wins the $500 gift card and the 3 heaviest Rockfish wins the 2 speed Penn Fathom Reel. There is a separate Big Fish Side Pot entry of $20 cash to be paid at the check-in and the pay-out will be 80% of the funds collected for the heaviest fish weighed. Sharks Rays and Bass are excluded from this side pot. All other legal DFW Game Fish are allowed in this cash side pot. $330 was won in Mission Bay for a 24" Halibut. There is also a $100 Savage Gear gift certificate for the biggest Halibut.:cheers1:

Sadly...Yanni will not be cutting fish this time around as he is having back surgery...GOOD LUCK YANNI...we'll miss you!!!
